UMBC’s Global Ambassador Program brings together a diverse group of current international students who help create a welcoming and considerate community for international students who are not in the US yet. By sharing their insights and personal experiences, the Global Ambassadors work to ensure that new international students feel connected to the UMBC campus, classroom, and community.
Global Ambassadors connect and communicate with both prospective and incoming international students at all academic levels through online chats and events in order to share their experience and answer questions about US culture and the international student experience at UMBC.
