At orientation, you will meet other new students, current international students, and UMBC staff from around campus who will present information and be available to answer your questions as our begin your time at UMBC.
Remember: You are also required to attend all other orientation sessions that have been assigned to you. Be sure to check your email so that you do not miss any important information!
Orientation Details
International Student Orientation is presented as a 2 part series. Both parts are mandatory for all incoming international students.
Part 1
This online session presents important information relevant to you as a new student. Whether you are still in your home country or already arrived in the US, use the link below to join this session.

Part 2
This in person session combines additional orientation content as well as a new student meet and greet. Join the ISSS staff along with other UMBC leaders, students, and staff members as we welcome you to UMBC! Lunch will be provided.

- U.S. Culture in and out of the Classroom
